Moscato d'Asti DOCG - Vigna La Bra

 

 

Grape-variety: 100% Moscato d'Asti

Growing location, altitude and soil: The Langhe (Piedmont), at an altitude of between 200 a 350 metres. The slightly clayey, calcareous white marl soil is of marine origin.

Wine-making method: The grapes are crushed and pressed immediately after picking. The must is then chilled at a temperature of 0°C until the wine is bottled.

Maturing and ageing in the bottle: The wine is released immediately after bottling.

Description of product: Straw-yellow, with a fruity, aromatic nose, this wine's fresh, sweet, and slightly spritzy taste make it very easy to drink.
Its breeziness is best appreciated within the year following its production.

Recommended pairings: Moscato d'Asti pairs very well with all desserts, but it is also nice as an aperitif served with delicate tarts.

Bottles produced: Approx. 6,000 bottles are produced in appropriate vintages.

Yield per hectare: The yield in grapes of 8000 kg/ha is equivalent to 56 Hl of wine.
